PROPOSED PROTOCOL FOR CLAIM REQUESTS RECEIVED AFTER THE FIRST CLAIM DEADLINE OF JUNE 30, 2010
Class Action Counsel in the 1986-1990 Hepatitis C Class Actions have brought applications to the Courts to seek approval of a proposed Late Claim Requests Protocol (“Protocol”) to deal with claim requests received by the Administrator after the First Claim Deadline of June 30, 2010.
The hearings to seek approval of the proposed Protocol, originally scheduled for September 2012, are now currently scheduled to take place in Vancouver, BC at the Courthouse, 800 Smithe Street on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. and in Toronto, Ontario at the Courthouse, 361 University Avenue on Tuesday, December 3, 2013.
As requests have been made to adjourn the hearings, it is possible that the hearings may not proceed on those dates. Information such as time and location as well as any changes to the hearings date and the outcome of the hearings will be posted at www.hepc8690.ca. Please be sure to monitor the website regularly for current information.
If you wish to attend the hearings to make submissions or if you wish to make submissions in writing pertaining to the proposed Protocol, you must advise Class Action Counsel listed below and forward your submissions in writing to them:
