On July 22, 2024, the Court issued their reasons for judgment. Manitoba’s motion to strike was dismissed except in relation to the allegations of fraudulent misrepresentation and rectification. The plaintiff’s motion to join Winnipeg as a party was allowed (with the exception of the allegations of fraudulent misrepresentation and rectification). A copy of the decision can be reviewed under Documents. A Second Amended Statement of Claim will be filed in due course reflecting these reasons.
