Before the proposed settlement becomes final, the Court must review and approve it. The Court will also review the plan for how compensation will be shared with class members. The Settlement Approval Hearing will take place at the Supreme Court of British Columbia in Vancouver.

At the hearing, CFM Lawyers will also ask the Court to approve its legal fees, and for payment of costs they have spent pursuing the class action. CFM Lawyers will request up to 25% of the Settlement Amount to be paid to compensate the lawyers for their work on this class action. The Court must approve these requests before any money is paid to the lawyers.
