For Rebecca, the highlight of her work is the opportunity to seek accountability. After starting her career as a corporate defense lawyer for a large national firm, Rebecca felt that she could make a valuable difference by switching her focus to plaintiff work.
Primarily working on class action lawsuits with a focus on consumer rights, including price fixing conspiracies, vehicle defects and privacy matters, Rebecca approaches legal issues through a solution-oriented lens. Diligent, compassionate and caring, she is committed to providing the best possible outcomes for her clients and draws on her strong research skills and knowledge of the law when presenting creative solutions for her clients.
Rebecca attended law school at the University of British Columbia, where she worked as a research assistant focusing on feminist issues in tax law and criminal law. She was also a legal intern for the B.C. Civil Liberties Association and clerked at the B.C. Court of Appeal.
When away from the office, Rebecca enjoys the outdoors as well as preparing a good meal and reading a good book.
