Oliver is driven to help people achieve just outcomes in unfair situations. He strives to use his strong analytical skills and diverse experience to find effective and efficient solutions to legal problems.
Oliver joined CFM in 2024. Before joining CFM, Oliver managed his own firm focusing on Aboriginal and administrative law. Previously he worked at the Department of Justice. Oliver was a law clerk at the British Columbia Court of Appeal and clerked for Chief Justice McLachlin at the Supreme Court of Canada.
Oliver has worked as an adjunct professor at the Allard School of Law, teaching Public Law, Administrative Law, and Environmental Law. Oliver was the recipient of the 2022 Adam Albright Adjunct Teaching Award for excellence by an adjunct professor.
Outside of the office, Oliver loves spending time with his family and friends, exploring the woods with his dog, and playing music.
