Monica joined CFM Lawyers in 2024. She graduated from Douglas College with a certification of legal assistant in 2017, and later graduated from VCC in 2021 with a Paralegal diploma. She primarily supports counsel in the areas of class action and also has experience in insurance defence litigation. Her on-the-job training has given her a strong understanding of the substantive and procedural laws that guide our practice areas. Monica is skilled at supporting our lawyers on complex and multi-jurisdiction cases, working closely with them to help to move matters to resolution.
Bilingual in Spanish and English. Monica brings a versatile skill set to her role. When she’s not busy with legal work, you can find her hanging out with her family and two oversized dogs, whipping up something delicious in the kitchen, or planning her next travel adventure.
