A partner at CFM, David’s practice is largely focused on representing claimants in class actions involving competition offences such as price fixing and breaches of consumer laws. His extensive experience includes matters involving vitamins, hydrogen peroxide, DRAM, Microsoft, ODD, batteries, CRT and the auto sector. David has been closely involved in many of the leading cases in these areas including at the Supreme Court of Canada. He also represents individuals in product liability cases involving aviation and industrial accidents. Prior to CFM Lawyers, he worked at large law firms in Canada and abroad and as an analyst in the financial markets and government.
David holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Queens University and a law degree from the University of British Columbia.
