These proposed class actions allege the defendants and their senior executives participated in illegal and secret meetings and made agreements to fix the prices of Film and Electrolytic Capacitors sold in Canada, including British Columbia, and elsewhere. Copies of the notices of civil claim and their amendments can be viewed under Documents. Proposed class actions have also been commenced in Ontario and Quebec.


Class Members (“Electrolytic Capacitors”): All residents in British Columbia, who, during the period commencing as early as January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2014 purchased aluminum and tantalum electrolytic capacitors.


Class Members (“Film Capacitors”): All residents in British Columbia, who, during the period commencing as early as January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2014 purchased film capacitors.
