This proposed class action concerns the alleged price-fixing of beef intended for human consumption (“Beef”). The defendant meatpacking operators are alleged to have conspired to fix, maintain, control, or lessen the production or supply of Beef and fix, raise, maintain, or stabilize the price of Beef sold to purchasers in Canada, starting at least as early as January 1, 2015 and continuing to the present (the “Class Period’).


Class Members: All persons or entities in Canada who directly or indirectly purchased beef intended for human consumption, in Canada, either for resale or for their own consumption, between January 1, 2015 and the present.
