From the beginning of Romi’s career, she has been deeply committed to addressing systemic injustices. She is passionate about using the law as a tool to hold powerful entities accountable for illegal or unethical actions. Empowering clients to assert their rights and achieve justice is the core of her practice. Romi had the honour of clerking at the British Columbia Court of Appeal after completing law school. This experience enriched her understanding of the law and strengthened her commitment to justice.
She prides herself on being highly relationship-focused and building strong, trusting connections with her clients. She understands that sensitive cases require patience, time, and a genuine commitment to understanding clients’ goals. Romi’s collaborative approach helps clients feel supported every step of the way as they work together to achieve the client’s desired outcomes.
When Romi is not advocating for her clients, you can find her on an ultimate frisbee field. She has played in tournaments across the US, Canada, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Before law school, she lived in Thailand, where she learned and cherished its culture, people, and cuisine.
