Michelle joined CFM in June 2012 after articling with a large national firm. She attended the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where she worked as a research assistant on several academic projects related to Law and Economics. She was a member of the Senior Editorial Board of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review, supervising the International Law Group. She also volunteered at both the Barbra Schliffer Commemorative Clinic and the Metropolitan Action Committee on Violence Against Women & Children, working in the areas of Family Law and Domestic Violence.
Michelle has a bachelor’s degree in International Development Studies and Economics from McGill University. Prior to attending law school, Michelle worked as an economics research assistant and tutor, and as a co-ordinator of child care programs at community centres around Vancouver.
