Disability Pension Awarded on Judicial Review

Torrance v. Attorney General of Canada – A pro bono client was denied a Canada Pension Plan disability pension since 1998, when he suffered a severe spinal injury. On judicial review, the Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development was ordered to give the client the pension he would have received had it not been for errors made by the Minister.
