All persons resident in BC who had contracts with Revolution Resources Recovery Inc. (“Revolution”) for the for the provision of waste and recycling disposal services from January 1, 2015 to the present (the “Class Period”), and who paid fees to Revolution in relation to the Greater Vancouver Regional District’s (“GVRD”) Organics Disposal Ban that were not incurred by Revolution.
This class action alleges that throughout the Class Period, Revolution has breached its contracts with class members by charging class members surcharges for fines related to the Organics Disposal Ban that exceed and/or bear no relation to the fines charged to Revolution by the GVRD in relation to the Organics Disposal Ban (the “Organics Surcharge”).
