Joe Fiorante, Q.C.604-331-9521 jfiorante@cfmlawyers.caJoe Fiorante was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1989 and has practiced with J.J. Camp since that time and with Sharon Matthews since 1993. His practice is concentrated on complex civil litigation, including international aviation, product liability cases and class actions. He is a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Litigation Counsel of America. Some notable cases on which Joe has acted as counsel include: Brown v. Bell Helicopter Textron (helicopter product liability and anti-suit litigation) WCB v. Amchem Products (international anti-suit injunction) Forsyth v. Sikorsky et al. (helicopter product liability), Carley v. Fairchild Hiller et al. (helicopter product liability), Tabrizi v. Whallon Machine (product liability) and Hunt v. T&N, plc et al. (asbestos personal injury litigation). Joe is the author of numerous articles on product liability, aviation law and jurisdictional issues including the annual review of aviation law for L'expert. Joe served as Chair of the Canadian Bar Association Air & Space Law Section and acted as an advisor to the Government of Canada at the ICAO proceedings to adopt two international conventions pertaining to damages to third parties caused by aircraft. Joe Fiorante is the Managing Partner of Camp Fiorante Matthews.
