Julie is an associate at Camp Fiorante Matthews. She was called to the bar in 2010 after clerking at the Supreme Court of British Columbia and articling at a large national firm.
Julie obtained a joint law degree and Master of Arts in International Affairs at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law and the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University, focussing on international criminal law. She earned her bachelor’s degree in International Relations and German at Mount Allison University. Julie also spent time in Italy studying Italian language and culture.
Julie is currently a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association (Civil Litigation and Young Lawyers subsections). Her practice focuses on CFM’s core areas of class actions, aviation, and product liability.
In her spare time, Julie enjoys cooking, ballet and other forms of dance, and travelling.
