Legal Administrative Assistant

We are currently looking for a top performing strategically-minded individual to join our firm as a full-time Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant. Please reference job posting “201710LAA05″ in your application. This position requires a high performing “best in class” individual with strong analytical, legal administrative assistant and executive assistant skills. The candidate must have a pleasant and calm disposition (especially under pressure) with the keen ability to anticipate and proactively interpret the needs of the firm’s partners. The litigation cases at CFMM are complex legally, technically and on jurisdiction. The successful individual will demonstrate a keen interest in collaborating with the partners in the details of these cases. You will become an integral part of the litigation team.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Completion of Legal Administrative Assistant program at an accredited post secondary institution (or equivalent experience)
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of legal procedures
  • Able to take initiative, exercise professional judgement and solve problems
  • Able to work independently
  • Great attention to detail
  • Able to coordinate multiple priorities
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Advanced Computer Literacy
